Introducing the
Award Winning Aerosol Piercing Unit (APU) . A
clean,
easy and
safe method of disposing of unwanted aerosols. Convert Hazardous Waste into Non-hazardous Waste and save on disposal costs and also produce a metal recyclate.
An aerosol can cannot be relieved of pressure through normal use. Even when “empty”, the retained propellant can react to heat or pressure when crushed or baled. With our system, you can safely puncture the aerosol can, relieve the pressure, and collect any residual liquids. By recycling the punctured aerosol cans, you will eliminate an entire category of waste from your waste stream. Assists your compliance with ISO 14001.
The APU is
designed
by
Pressing Solutions
and
sold exclusively

The Potential for Recycling:
Each year, the UK uses around
600 million aerosols. On average, that's
10 cans per person or 27 cans per household. Aerosols account for
4% of the metals packaging stream. We estimate that there are about
25,000 tonnes of tin plated steel and
4,500 tonnes of high grade aluminium available from recycling aerosol in the UK.
